About ICHF Events
ICHF Events brings together creative, hobby and lifestyle communities with large-scale events across the UK. Their shows include crafting expos, sewing & quilting shows, cake decorating events, offering workshops, exhibitions, products, and a strong sense of community for makers and enthusiasts.

The Challenge
When ICHF came to me, their existing online presence needed to:
- Clearly reflect the variety and scale of their events across the UK, craft shows, hobby fairs, cake-decorating expos, lifestyle events.
- Provide visitors with easy access to “Upcoming Shows”, event details, and ticket-booking options.
- Present a strong brand identity that resonates with creative communities (crafters, hobbyists, decorators) fun, inspiring, inclusive.
- Make content easy to update: new events, schedules, exhibitions, venue info.
The Solution
I designed and developed a custom WordPress site for ICHF Events that:
- Features a clear “Upcoming Shows” hub, listing all future events with dates, venues, and “Book Tickets” CTAs.
- Presents a concise “About Us” section explaining ICHF’s mission, heritage, and the communities they serve.
- Uses vibrant, engaging visuals and banners that reflect creativity, craft, and lifestyle, aligning with the personality of ICHF’s events.
- Is easy for the ICHF team to update with new shows, event images, exhibitor info, reducing maintenance overhead and enabling timely updates before each event.
- Has clear navigation that helps users find events, book tickets, learn about exhibiting or sponsoring, helping both end-visitors and prospective partners.
