The Northern Ireland Longitudinal Study (NILS) is an extensive database, capturing decades of people’s major life events. As the largest longitudinal study in the UK, it encompasses 28% of the Northern Ireland population and touches nearly 50% of households in the region.
This recent website project for Queens University Belfast aimed to make this valuable research accessible and easy to navigate. I focused on simplicity to ensure that users can effortlessly find the data they need. The design prioritised user experience to effectively present this extensive body of research.
